I'm faced with a deciscon tomorrow and I'm getting nervous, I live in the East Bay now and may decide to move to South Lake.
What do you think?

It's a 4 hour drive to Lake Tahoe from the S.F. Airport Come east on I-80 to Sacramento then take 50 east. That will take you right into S L T.

I love the East Bay, but South Lake is really pretty. Both are pretty expensive. South Lake is small and not real cultural, if you're into that sort of thing (theatre, museums, etc.) If you're into skiing and the outdoors, then South Lake is your best bet!

south lake tahoe for sure fresh air, trees ,lake no gangs ect
east bay gangs, bad air, rude people,filth drugs ect
i have lived in both tahoe was great swimming sking ect i miss it still

I think Frisco is a lot nicer, but it's cheaper to live in Tahoe.
