Hi. All depends; do you work in a men's clothing store?
If not, I would have lent him a pair of pants and gone with him to the interview. {For moral support}.
Trusting people can be very "tricky". If we have been ripped off, it is so hard to trust again, isn't it?

I can't speak for other people but I have nearly been robbed on some occasions. I also move to the side because for some reason they like to walk in the middle of the side walk.

I would give him the pants. You would be up on your good deeds for at least a week. If he doesn't bring them back then you get to buy new pants, which means shopping. Oh Boy!!
Hey was his name Buk?

i would have told him to go and get his own. i know it is not the most neighborly way to go about it but in todays world you cannot trust anyone. i learned that the hard way. most people will use you if they can and you let them. good luck.

Wow - what an interesting life you lead. I donno what I would do. Maybe direct him to a used clothing shop I know about. That's really an odd question to ask a stranger.
