This person never lived at my address and I haven't heard from him since he dumped me, but I receive notices from the municipal courts informing him of court dates.I called and told them that he does not live here and ask if they would fix that, but for some reason they couldn't. The first charge was trespassing and this latest one has to to with a bicycle rule. Can I file charges so that he will stop using my address?

That might fall under Identity theft. Obstruction of justice for sure, and maybe disorderly conduct. I'd definitely go to your local law enforcement agency.

Most states are getting better laws for Identity theft . My wife works for the post office. She says big bold letters on any mail that is addressed to him to your home "PERSON DOES NOT LIVE HERE". One the post office will send it back to the people or office that sent it ,and two they pay the returned postage. Any time any state or government office has to spend money it gets someone notice. However if your name and his is in the address then its a little harder. Hope this helps ...

Simply return them via mail marked NOT AT THIS ADDRESS! Then I would send a registered letter to the court from where these notices are coming from informing them FORMALLY that this person does not reside at your address and hasn't since (give the last date that person was there). Sending this notice to the court registered mail will ensure that they RECEIVED it. It is worth the $2.
