My car was hit in my apartment parking lot and left a huge dent and paint from the other car on the bumper, unfortunately the other driver didn't leave a note. From the way my car was parked and where the dent is, there's really only one car that could have hit mine. I've gone to the building management to try to get the name of the person who rents the spot next to mine, with no luck. This person frequently parks across the divider line into my spot (so I'm pretty sure his car hit mine ... even the paint matches) I've also filed a police report (but they really won't do anything). Is there any other way I can get this guy's name? He hasn't parked in his spot during normal hours all week (I try to go out there with my camera a few times a day to see if he's also got bumper damage from hitting me). Thanks for your help.

Without any proof, you are merely harrassing a neighbor. If you feel that he is the one, try following him to where he has parked his car and get your picture.

That is awful. He is probably having his vehicle repaired before you can get photos. Sorry.
