when i put a dvd in my comp it wont auto read and even when i go to my comp and look it up it wont read the dvd. so is there a way i can dowload something off the internet for free? cuz im a lil short on cash at the moment.
help plz

If you do not have a DVD drive then you cannot use DVDs. You must purchase the hardware. (You can order them online for $12 or so).
If you mean that you have a drive that supports DVDs, but you are trying to watch a DVD movie but cant - then you need a software plugin to allow you to watch DVDs.

You may need to download the driver. Look at the specs for your comp. Then go to the companies website and download the driver. It is usually free. As the others have said, you must have a DVD drive and not just a CDROM drive.

You need a DVD ROM Drive. This is the minimum for watching DVD's on your computer.

if u have windows media player u shouldnt have a problem jsut go to winds midea player and look for the title of the dvd under the drivers in windows media player if that dosnt work go to my computer and there should be a driver that says the dvd title or something like it in the same catagory as local disk C click plar or right click and click ' play in' and seltec windows media player

Without a DVD drive - you will not be able to read DVD's.
They are not that expensive.
