i recently befriended a gay dude. but i actually think he's st8 and saying he's gay so girls will feel more comfortable about it.
he's always commenting on how hot i am and wants to hld me, hug me, and kiss. i think a gay guy should be asing other dudes to do that. and i ask him about guys he likes and it's the cliche "brad pitt" and "george clooney". i mean they're 40 somthin and he's 22. wat do u think and how should i confront him. he's a great guy but i dont want him 2 think he ca take advantage of me. :(

Straight guys very rarely, almost never pretend to be gay!
He's 22. Being "out" may still be something new to him. Ask him to introduce you to his gay friends, or about the clubs that he goes too...ask him if he came out to his family? If he is gay, he'll appreciate your genuine interest. You "may be" one of the only people that know....

Wow that's a shady situation. If you feel comfortable enough talking to him in person, do it. If you hate confrontations (like me) I would say to write him an email or text just being honest.
Don't say you suspect he's straight, just be like you feel uncomfortable with him holding/kissing/hugging you. You think he's cool but you really just don't like it.
Your feelings are completely understandable. My friend is st8 and has a girlfriend that he claims to be crazy over and he's dated for several years, yet he's always hugging all over me, resting his hand on my knee under the table and being totally inappropiate.
I had to get him straight quick.

I'm a 54 year old gay man. I have known straight guys to go to gay clubs to hit on girls, and dance, but I've never known one to actually pretend to be gay in their personal life for the same reason. Gay guys frequently enjoy having girl friends. And many of us are very affectionate and touchy, huggy, feely, and kissy. All I can say more is to trust your instincts. I think if he were to touch you in any sexual way that you would probably know it, and instantly. In fact, it would be HARD for him to hide it, if you get my drift.

He sounds confused or bisexual !!!!! If he is straight than i cannot see him telling girls that he is gay just to reel them in. That is normally not something straight guys do.
