If you look closely you can see Bush giving the Prince a reacharound.

But even that wasn't as embarrassing as when he asked the Prince to sing Raspberry Beret.

Have you been to the Middle East? I have and saw men holding hands. It's very common and it's not perverted. It's just the culture. There they think American women are dirty pigs and should be killed because you all walk around in the summer half naked. Again, it's just the culture.

Actually, as my family once spent a lot of time in Saudi Arabia, I may be able to shake that very limited view of "maleness" you seem to have.

In Saudi Arabia it is common for men to do so, particularly among the nobility. Talking distance is very close together, with little personal space (which is smaller in many Islamic countries).

If you are going to insult our President because he knows enough about Saudi customs so as to follow such rules without worrying about his manliness, you're going to reveal an awful lot about your own limits, culturally.

I'm sure you didn't intend to do that, now, did you?

I had a boss one time who said to me: "Don't bad mouth other people. It ends up making you look bad."

Bush is a buffoon in the eyes of many, but in the end he winds up coming off better than the rabid Bush haters who cannot just let his buffoonery rest on its own merit.

So, I congratulate you on embarrassing yourself with a silly question designed with no other purpose in mind than to attack someone you hate. In my mind, it backfired. But ... if it makes you feel a little bit better about yourself then I guess it served some purpose.

Macho is a characteristic unrelated to the presidency.

I didn't know he ever did look macho. Is a president suppose to look macho? If so I don't think we had but a few of those.

Yes, they were holding hands, and it was very revealing as to the extremely close relationship between the Bush family and the Saudi royal family, wasn't it?
