Yes, I love pigeons! I have some doves which are cousins to the pigeon. Pigeons are smarter than doves, however , and in history there were some very brave (carrier )pigeons that were used during the war to send messages back and forth. There are a lot of different breeds and some of them have brilliant plumage. Pigeons are neat!

Pigeon droppings are TOXIC.
I'd avoid all contact, research what the droppings do, and exercise caution.

no offense to piegon lovers but all they do is poop on your car and u have to clean it. but i like to feed them
