As for Mike K.... My father had a Ford, you know the one with re-call on the tires, he lost control and rolled over. He's now in a wheel chair for the rest of his life. I remember when he first got it was because his chevy truck rolled over when we got hit by a wind storm. We were towing a trailer and the wind caused a jack knife, the truck pulled a 180, landed in a ditch, when the trailer followed it caused the truck to slowly turn over. My father, my brother, and I walked away with not even a scratch. I begged him to get the same truck, but he went with a Ford instead.... He tells me he regrets ever buying a Ford. So... tell me... can Ford make my father walk again? That's why Chevy is da 5hit! You can rollover and still WALK away......

First chevy is "$hit" not because they've built the best products but because of the best advertising and lowest vehicle prices.Gm was the first auto manufacturer to advertise on tv maybe you've seen the old Dinah Shore commercials.I would atleast hope you know the song see the usa in your chevrolet.Well atv 400 and mike k the facts are Ford is most likely not going to survive.You can point to any written source you want but the truth is in how financially fit a company is.I believe it was mike k who has stated in the past that ten thousand mechanics have stated fords are the most reliable.I know many mechanics who will tell you ford repairs make up 80 to 90% of their repairs and they don't work for ford.Ford is selling everything it can to try to stay afloat.Ford motor company is mortgaged to the hilt and even the blue oval is mortgaged.I would be starting to look for a new favorite brand because ford isn't going to exist much longer 2 maybe 3 years tops.Before you get all angry at me I didn't screw up ford, ford did with crap products and poor management.It is a shame that Fords management has destroyed all those jobs.We need good jobs and good companys now more than ever.

The new Chevy trucks RULE! I have a new 07 Tahoe and this truck rocks! Chevy has always made a great truck. The only really good Chevy car would be the Corvette.

all the auto makers have not been up to the challegen as of late but if you could have seen some of the new ideas chevy is working on then you may say wow. i have seen the skateboard. o my god . it only 6" thick steer by wire and hydrogen powered . no gas or trans or engine nomore hump in the floor board. and a wide selection of body designs it will reach the market in 2010 . i could go on an on about this one . it throughs everything we know about autos out the window. it can run at 80 miles an hour all day long. oh and no brakes disc or drum i have been trying to find out more but its not public knowledge yet..

If you make decisions based on facts then chevy is not the ****, it is actually a piece of ****. Like atv said, in every single publication that is available on the planet earth that rates the reliabillity and repair history of cars, ford is ahead of chevy. Chevy is actually one of the reasons GM is rated so low in reliabillity and repair history. You can reference any publication on the web that is a professional company that does repair and reliabillity history and they all say ford is the most reliable american car company in front of chevy, dodge, and so on. I CHALLENGE ANYONE TO PRESENT FACTS BASED ON REFERENCES TO STATE OTHERWISE. I think the answer is pretty obvious when the only arguments you see for chevy are intellegent comments like "chevy rules" and "ford sucks" and "I own a chevy camaro that can drive for 1,000,000 miles without an oil change" even though pre 96 camaros have one of the worst reliabillity history of all chevy vehicals and post 96 camaros have a worst then ave reliabillity history.
2n1 made my point once again with the "i have heard mechanics say" buy doesnt have any reference or factual info to support her claim. Anyone can come on here and say that. Here, I'll show you. I went to a chevy dealership a week ago and was talking to one of the salesman about buying a car and he told me that if it was him, he would deffinately not by a chevy right now. He said that he has been talking to the mechanics there and they said even the brand new chevys vehicals are comming in with less then 5k miles with major engine and transmission problems.
See how I did that, this conversation never happened but since it is all here-say, with not facts or reference it has no weight. You almost had it with your comments about ford financial difficulties but then you ruined it by saying Ford will be out of buisness in 3 years. There has been nothing published to say that. You cant honestly think that the multi billion dollar Ford company that has been around for 100 years (I dont know the exact amount of years) is going to be out of buisness in 3 years. Also, it doesnt matter which car company you see in the shop the most. There are many more Fords on the road then chevy or dodge so its like having a bucket with 60 red balls, 20 yellow balls, and 20 blue balls (the dodge balls);) When you randomly pull a ball out of the bucket and its red, it doesnt mean the red balls are defective, it just means there is more of them in there to grab. What does matter is the percentage of cars made that needs repaired and according to all the publications chevy and dodge have a higher percentage of cars that need repairs then ford.

ATTENTION all ford haters, I just found out that in the 2007 PQRS 1st quarter report, which is the product quality and reliabillity survey and Ford is second out of all car manufactuers including the non american. heres the rankings, uh oh, theyre almost #1 what will the haters say when Ford even beats out all the Forgien car makers as well

Old Chevys were cool. Chevelles, Novas, First Gen Camaros, these cars were all cool. New Chevys suck. Chevy is $hit because of excess cost cutting. Look at their crappy interiors, worse than average reliability records, and half a$s engineering. Look at the Impala SS, it has front wheel drive!! They built that car to answer to the Charger R/T, and believe me, Charger drivers laugh when an Impala SS driver revs their engine.

PS, according to every major quality report (JD Power, Edmunds, Consumer Reports, etc) Ford has an above average quality and reliability recod, while GM is has one of the worst reliability and quality records. Chevrolet happens to be one of GMs worst brands when it comes to be reliability. Don't believe me? Look it up.
