No, that is a myth. Birds eat uncooked rice all the time. Usually, you can't throw rice because it is hard to clean up and somebody might slip and fall.

No. That got started by a group of naturalist, who assumed that the rice would expand in the birds stomachs and burst through the stomach into the abdomen. It has since been proved wrong.

yep i went to a wedding and somebody did that and a bird came later and lets just say................... it wasn't a pretty sight or fun to clean up
