motion sickness pills?

Question

when you fly, do you take motion sickness pills?? what's the best on the market? i have bonine and drammine..which is the best? i take them as i get nervous and small anxiety attacks...I am leaving for a week to boston soon and i am already freaking out even though i want to go and i know i will have a great time

I am no expert on flying. I took Dramamine when I flew and it did help. I don't fly often at all.

They are Called Gravol, Here is the medical write up on it
Indications And Clinical Uses: Prevention or relief of motion sickness, radiation sickness, postoperative vomiting, and drug induced nausea and vomiting; it has also been used for the symptomatic relief of nausea and vertigo due to Ménière's disease and other labyrinthine disturbances.

Manufacturers' Warnings In Clinical States: As dimenhydrinate has a CNS depressant effect, the concomitant use of alcohol should be avoided.
Adverse Reactions: Drowsiness may be experienced by some patients, especially at high dosages. Dizziness may also occur. Symptoms of dry mouth, lassitude, excitement (especially in children) and nausea have been reported.

but they end up giving you headache LOL... so stub your foot or bang your head. Either way air travel has its ups and downs if you have to take one its called Gravol or Travel Tabs the generic kind is the same as the leading brands but cheaper. Fly without any meds is better for first time. The others if they are not a barbituate(drug with addictive tendencies and halousinagin) Boston Logon Airport is awesome it goes right over the Boston Harbour and over the main beach coming in, your going to be fine, those planes are excellent condition, bring Ipod and sit back and watch the movie and keep bugging them for everything, the more you bug them the more it makes it worth it hahahah

I dont take either one cuz I get very drowsy and out of it but my mom takes dramamine and she seems fine with those. You should try them now before you actually leave to see how they make you feel and then decide which one is right for you. Good luck!!

no I`ve never taken anything. I`ve flown to Las vegas which is close to a 5 hour flight.. don`t worry you`ll be fine.
