Not bad - it's actually a real name. He could go by Toby. As for middle names, I think they should be after a loved one.

I like Tobias and Tobin. I don't like Toby as a nickname though. I know a Tobias that doesn't go by a nickname.

I like Tobias, its very cute without being crazily common. You can use Toby for short which is adorable.
Middle names starting with "O" or "B" will flow well with the middle sounds in Tobias.
Something like:
Tobias Oakley
Tobias Oliver
Tobias Orlando
Tobias Owen
Tobias Bailey
Tobias Baxter
Tobias Benjamin
Tobias Brady
Tobias Brandon.

I really liek that name. As for middle names, I would have to agree with some one said previously and say Tobias Ried. That is SOOOOO CUTE!!!

I like the name. It's not a very common name, it's easy to pronounce, it has character and it doesn't have a crazy spelling like so many names nowadays.
I could definitely see someone be successful with the name Tobias.
I'm not sure what middle name to go with it, though. Maybe use the name of someone that means a lot to you, like someone else suggested.
