here's a good question, "If you like U2, does that mean you automatically like Coldplay"?

I liked U2 when they did Bloody Sunday, and up to The Joshua Tree. After that, I think they got too preachy and appeared to become full of themselves. I don't listen to them any longer.
I still have the Joshua Tree, and listen to it often - it is an excellent album. But I will no longer purchase any of their new music.

I do very much. My favorite is all their 80's stuff, but I like some of the newer ones too. The Joshua Tree cd was the best ever.

Their first 3 albums Boy, October & War were great. Then Bono decided he was a rock star they quickly went down hill after that.

I mean, what's not to like.
They have made the transformation from rebellious youth to elder statesmen, and kept it real and relevant along the way, despite a few misfires.
And to the guy who said he doesn't like Achtung Baby, all I can say is WHAT! WHAT! WHAAAAAT!

I'd like to see Marilyn Manson top those lyrics.

yes :) ! my favorite songs are "vertigo" and "all because of you", and i like the song they did with green day called "the saints are coming". and not only that, bono is a great person; hes always trying to spread the word about One.

of course!loved their latest CD and their vids!think that they are one of the best bands that still are not sell outs and make good records after 20+ years.they have good soothing sounds,etc..and their lyrics are inspiring
