she is one of the best characters just wondering if anyone has heard anything.

Maybe. I think in "Order of the Phoenix" and "Half-Blood Prince" Rowling set up a core group within Dumbledore's Army. These being Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville, Ginny, and Luna. All six fought at the battle in the Ministry of Magic (though they had to be saved by the Order of the Phoenix) and they all fought alongside the Order of the Phoenix on the night Hogwarts was attacked by the Death Eaters (Harry was a bit late in joining the battle since he and Dumbledore weren't there when the battle started). So I've been thinking Rowling is going to have these six as the core of Dumbledore's Army fighting Voldemort and the Death Eaters alongside the Order in the final book. Think it's going to be a combination of the two that will bring them down and that the core group may well be the next Order of the Phoenix.

maybe but who really knows what will happen in 7th book anyways. i do hope that Luna lovegood will play a big role in the last book though

Our dear little Jo has said that Loony (I meant Luna, of course) is one of her fave new characters. If you had written one of the most anticipated "last books" EVER and were the first billionare author in history, wouldn't you want to have a lot of fun with an (dare I say it) eccentric character of yours?

I am reading the Mugglenet's What Will Happen in Book 7 and I think I read it somewhere that she will be important. And I think there is more to her than just her quirky qualities.. âº

I expect so. Behind her unusual exterior, I think that she is a very wise, loving, unassuming girl. She really cares about people and doesn't let the opinions of others get to her.

i haven't heard anything, but i think she should be a very important character. she has some embarassing habits (like saying such odd things...) but she is good at heart, and she can relate to harry because of her mother's death. she is also a loyal friend, and apparently a good witch. that's what i think.

I think she will. I think ultimately she will end up with Neville. She'll be teaching divination and he'll be teaching herbology.
