At this point, I have seen the birth of my kids and grandson, I have traveled and seen alot in my 39 years. So, I would have to say I would enjoy the dark and be able to see beauty through sound.

Cry awhile, then pull up my boot straps and get my act together! I could still contribute to society and still do most things I do now, but I might need a little help getting around. I'd try to be as mobile as possible without help, though. I oculd still teach children and still love babies, so I woiuld be alright! I would have plenty of memories of what things look like to draw from. Just today I was noticing how BEAUTIFUL the clouds were on the way home from church! I appreciate how nature is so beautiful, so it would be a long time before I would completely forget what that looked like!

Hopefully develop my other senses and learn braille. I cannot imagine having sight and then losing it but at least I had the blessing of sight for so many years since birth.
Good question!

Is that your little one in the picture? What a cutie!

It's wouldn't be the end of the world. Yes, life would be drastically changed but it is not the end of life. It's a matter of learning to cope and learn for your ears and sense of touch to take over for the loss of sight.

I would have to learn to depend on other people. I would have to learn Braille,in order to read. I am not sure what else.I would like to think that I would do my best to accept the changes in my life.

It is so difficult to place myself in the position of a blind person, but I am sure I would want to continue to move on and learn all I could.

probably the same as i do now, but i'd have to go about it differently. i'd have to be willing to accept help from people. that'd be the hardest part.
