Can you guess which organization this is?

Neither the NFL nor NBA,
it's the 535 members of the United States Congress.

The same group of Idiots that crank out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line.

This is probably true. The Republicans have been arrested left and right for illegal activities ever since they took control. Perhaps it was because they felt they were above the law just like Bush does.

This is not to say the Democrats are angels, but proportionately the main offenders were Republicans.

I think they should get the same benefits that every American gets. If they want full health care for Part-Time work.....then every American gets it as well. And if they pay for their coverage they must pay the same amount we do.

As to raises, they should only be allowed to raise their pay when they raise the minimum wage for a cost of inflation increase. Their raises should have a 3% cap per year.

It is the same BS you see from trolls you see here at YA

There is a lot of corruption in any place that you find power, in Government or out of it, but honest and almost honest folk exist, and some are crazy but otherwise honest.

The question to ask is what people actually have your interests at heart and believe in what they are doing.

If the person you would vote for thinks it is a dog-eat-dog world and government is just corrupt and shouldn't be doing anything but helping businesses. They would probably act that way in Congress.

So Corruption is wide spread , but the Gang Of Pirates have tried to patent it and keep it all in Republican Hands.

Propagandists like the one who first wrote your email will not have any real checkable facts, and those who say it is true but cannot link any verifications are no better.

When you get stuff like that the best thing is to Google the info, and you can very quickly see the reality about it

I am inclined to believe this is true.

Congress is American's biggest Lottery.

A person elected there gets all kinds of wonderful benefits for life, and the requirements for competence in the job are pretty low.

They pass many laws which do not apply to congress persons, many laws that eat a forest of trees to print all the details, cannot read in their entirety, cannot know all the contents, then later claim when the laws not get the results they intended, that there were "unintended consequences."

We need simpler laws, that are intelligible, even to the lottery winners who get elected to go to Congress.

You may be aware that there have been several recent scandals with false and libeleous info posted to Wikipedia.

When ANYTHING is posted to Wikipedia, the IP address of this "helpful" volunteer is recorded, so it can be back traced to WHO supplied the info, so that if later info is found to be false, malicious, etc. that IP address can be blocked, since that source of info has been found, in balance, to contribute a lot more negative wrong info than be a positive contribution.

The IP addresses of Congress have had to be blocked from updating Wikipedia because Republican staffers cannot resist posting nonsense about Democrats, and Democratic staffers cannot resist posting nonsense about Republicans.

In other words, the morality of the people working there, are no better than very young children, who have not yet passed any class in civic responsibilities.

Some of the data in your e-mail may in fact be incorrect, because there's data on all of us that is incorrect.

Several congress people are on the terrorist no-fly lists and cannot get off them ... which means there's no hope for any ordinary person getting off, if we get on in error?

Several congress people have had their identities stolen by people who gone off and done all kinds of crooked stuff using the congress people identities. If the identity thieves can get away with doing this to congress people, governors and other top state officials, what hope do the rest of us have?

There's only so many of them in office at any one time ... I am inclined to believe some of the statistics may apply to former office holders.

I've seen similar statistics from reputable sources, and my own research has confirmed that some of the numbers are pretty close.

Of course, the actual numbers change every few months, as different political officials get indicted, and every two years when a new House is elected.

But overall, the numbers are pretty close to accurate at the time they were generated.

Of course it's true, and the people will vote all of them back into office. they're sheep, replicrats and democans, they're sheep.
When they receive the same retirement that any other American would receive from the government, then you would see things change. If their wages were tied to the mean wages of their constituency, you would see things change.
