chip clips when you can use clothes pins which are much cheaper and serve the same purpose...!!!

I use close pins at times, but they let in more air, thus allowing the food inside to go stale. What I have found that is even better than Chip Clips, is the smallest clamps that hardware store sell for $0.44. They work for all kinds of jobs around the house! I love them.

Good Question. Plus the plastic chip clips always break and wood clothes pins would be stronger.

well it seems to me these days people like to be in style..lol..clothes pins then and chip clips now!! lol..i dunno..i agree with you they are cheaper and do serve the same purpose..maybe they think its too gheto or something..lol..."clothes pins? are you insane! i would not be caught dead with those ..we use chip clips!" lol...i can see it now..lol..oh well it is up to them i they want t o waiste money on chip clips..lol..

I already use clothes pins, my mom did and that's where I learned it. Chip clips suck.

Hmmm, that's a good question and a very good solution. I'll definately have to try that. It's a money making scheme, it's hard to use your brain sometimes with the media sending you subliminal messages constantly. I always thought just folding the bag and using a rubber band to seal in freshness was good too. Apparently we were both mistaken.
