There was show called Small Wonder that aired in the 80's. The robot was only like a 10 year old girl, so I don't know if this is what you meant by a "woman robot." The show featured the mom and dad, a human son, and the robot daughter. As you stated, the dad was always fixing his robot daughter whose name was Vicki. Here's the imdb link:
