Did you know that "Stressed" spelled backward is "Desserts"? So, it's when you're overdue from being stressed that you look into the mirror and you will then get your desserts instead of having to pay a fine.
When I was a child, I used to talk as a child, think as a child, reason as a child; when I grew, I put aside childish things. At present we see indistinctly, as in a mirror, but then face to face. At present I know partially; then I shall know fully, as I am fully known.

I have a new view on this subject. I used to own this crappy car with all the paint peeling and the cops stopped me all the time. It didn't matter if I did anything wrong or not. They'd stop me for stuff like using my turn signal too many feet before or after the turn. Then, one magical day, a lady was getting kicked out of her apartment and had to sell the shiny turquiose Dodge Intrepid that she inherited from her sister. I bought it for 1500 dollars and haven't been bothered by the police since. SO if you look poor you pay the fines in this life. Even if you are overdue for your just desserts and are poor, just be sure to get a nice car with a good paint job, no matter how many miles it has on it. Then nobody will bother you. It's sad but appearance matters more than substance. (Sorry to be cynical.)

Yes, you do have to pay a fine. The amount of your overdue deserts is compounded and served to the offender in the form of karma.
Do on to others.

I believe the correct phrase is "just deserts" not "just desserts" (http://www.phrases.org.uk/meanings/just-deserts.html).
And, whoever said there is a fine? I get what is due me when the time is right.
