College Admissions offices are NOW viewing all these sites to get a better insight into the kinds of candidates applying to their schools vs. the behavior/s they engage in.
Also prospective Employers take your application and paruse these sites for the images applicants project ON and off the internet.
They often discover DUI's, drug usage, and other illegal activity making the candidates for acceptance or hiring LESS than likely.
My employer found a female who bragged about her 5K Credit card debt and partying on weekends and not attending classes to be exactly the kind of person he WON'T hire.
Problem is these sites are venues for people to reveal their morals, or lack thereof as well as their true attitudes of conduct which are almost always an embarrassment.
