I think that would be called whispering, because screaming is at the top of the lungs. I don't know, good question

for me yes ,because I have asthma
so sometimes that's all the air I have is in the bottom of my lungs...lol

Air can be brought up from the bottom of your lungs but the scream only comes from your vocal chords............ok?

Yes...I did it when I fell and broke two ribs...gasping for breath...my screams were barely audible!
