I really do not like them. They are sticky, smelly, annoying, and a pain in the you know what. I admit it. I dont like children. Am i weird? I dont have children. Dont want children. Are you like me?

I am always a little reluctant to say that I dislike children. When I do, people always give me weird looks like I must be evil or something. But really, that is not it. I just don't understand children and don't have much patience.
For all my life I felt that I didn't want to have any children because I felt that I wasn't equipped to handle the responsibility. If I am to bring children onto this world, I better do a good a** job at raising them because I sure don't want them to hate me later.
With all that said, recently I've had a change of heart. I met a man that I felt in love with and found myself daydreaming about our wedding and the children we'd have. We are no longer together, but the idea of getting married and having children still lurks in my thoughts. It a possibility I used to not consider, but now that I am older, I have to think things through some.
But no, you are not weird. People like you and I are sorta rare though. Yeah, they will give you odd looks... but don't let that get you down. You do what is best for you, and you will be fine. Good luck!

Ok, don't tell anyone, but I do not like most people's children. They are bad. They are disrespectful, whiny little know-it alls.
However, I do not think it is the children's fault they are being raised this way. I believe it is totally the parents fault for letting them behave that way, but it will hurt the children in the long run. Can you imaigine what kind of adults this type of child will grow up to be?
One of my friends lets her child hit her! Can you believe that? Do you know what kind of a spanking I would have gotten if I had hit my mother? Aghhh. And what does that teach that little one? If you have no respect for your mother, who do you respect? Very bad parenting skills.
I do plan on having children in about 3 years or so, but I have a degree in communication and psychology. I will do my best to give my little ones every chance in life. I understand child psychology and plan to raise balanced, respectful children that will go into this world and make something of themselves... The way my parents raised me.

up until I was about 30, I felt the same. I have a son now, and I adore him. Most other kids to me are ok, though some I'm really quite fond of. There are also a few kids I've come across that I've taken an instant disliking to, and haven't been able to change my feelings

I don't like other ppl's children much lol.
I LOVE mine however.
I never wanted children, but when I had my son I fell in love and he and his sister are the best surprises my husband and I have ever had!
Your not weird, some people aren't meant to have children. My Uncle and Aunt never had children and they are very happy with their lives. the get back from their Overseas trip tomorrow (they go Evey yr).

I have a lot of friends that don't like children. I don't have any, but I volunteer at a children's hospital and cuddle babies but I don't know if I want any of my own. Maybe if I find the right person to procreate with!

lol no you're not weird.. There are many people like you out there (like my sister). I personally like children; they are loud and annoying but I'm pretty sure both you and I were like that as kids too. I'm pretty sure your opinion will change once you get a child :)

I don't like kids............I think they're annoying and too needy. And.... Im too selfish to give up the rest of my life for one.
Even though..... I'm going to go to college to be a high school teacher in a year. ( I wanna teach advanced math)
Idk... I guess it's just young kids. Yeah they're cute.....to look at. Not to actually have to take care of.

I don't dislike most of them, but I do not want any. I have been married for almost 8 years and I can not see myself dealing with any.
