Bigfoot a fake, says family of man who created it

(12-06) 04:00 PDT Toledo, Wash. -- There wasn't enough room in Ray Wallace's grave for him and his hoax, so now the truth is out: Bigfoot didn't exist.

Or at least not the Bigfoot Wallace helped make famous.

Wallace, a former logger, converted the imaginary into celebrity in 1958 when news reports surfaced about large, mysterious footprints found in a logging camp where Wallace worked at Bluff Creek, in Humboldt County.

Then Wallace began milking it. He reported Bigfoot sightings. He recorded Bigfoot sounds. He played the faithful like a violin and giggled behind his hand the whole time, said his son Michael Wallace.

"He was a prankster, but never malicious," the son said Thursday. "He just liked playing jokes. . . . He made a lot of people laugh. It was a fun family to grow up in."

How would it being a big ape make it something other than Bigfoot? If Bigfoot is real, it is probably a giant ape...As for it's existence, I'm a bit undecided. Part of me would make me thing it would have been discovered by now. The other part of me reminds me of how many undiscovered species there are in the world. My dad believes in it 100% as he is quite adamant that he saw it back in the 70's out in the Florida Everglades while he was hunting with his cousin...hmm...strange. I guess I'll say I believe there is a strong possibility that Bigfoot exist.

The Legend of Bigfoot, Sasqautch, Skunk Ape, Yeti, Yowie comes from all corners of the world and go by different names. These legends go way back, farther back than the Ray Wallace hoax., by hundreds of years !! This is proven fact. American Indians tell of this legend. The Yeti legend of the Himalayas goes back thousands of years. Sorry to all the people that believe Ray Wallace invented the legend of the Bigfoot . This where you are very wrong. The fact that eyewitness accounts go back hundreds of years proves that point without question. PERIOD !!!! The fact there are witnesess of similar creatures throughout the world says something to the validity of a large Bipedial creature. All of different shapes and sizes. All these could be different off shoots of different ape families, who knows!! One thing that all these creature have in common is that they ae very smart creatures. They know how to stay hidden. There was a little known study done back in the early eighties to prove that an animal of intelligence can stay hiddden. They took some 15 wildlife experts and trained survival experts that were taken out in the wilderness and left to survive 30 days in a area that was frenqeuted by capmers and hikers. For those 30 days they were able to stay hidden and were never seen by anyone public in an area you would figure it would be impossible not to be seen. So you can not say that these creatures that are considered to be intelligent to stay hidden in very, I mean very remote places where man does not go in very often. So yes the exisistence of Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Yowie(Australia, where it is very very very remote) or what ever it is called in it's region may be very real !!!!!!!!!!!!

For all the people who have seen a Bigfoot type creature in not only in the US but around the world in remote, forested, mountain areas....I say real. New animals and bugs are being found all the time in remote areas of the world like the Amazon for example. Another spot to find new animals is the oceans, only a small amount has been explored so who knows what is left to find in them.

http://www.bfro.net/ gives list of sound recordings, sites he was seen, evidence, and lots more.

I ran into a big foot twice so I know that they are real... Should you walk up to one no. for some of the are over 8feet talk and they are strong as a bull and weight over a thousands pounds... There is no record of them ever attacking a human but to walk up to one is asking to be hurt... in my second encounter with one two fully grown men both over 200lbs tried to grab it and it threw the both of them more than ten feet away from it and when I say that they landed with a thump belive it.. And neither one of those men got up for the were both knocked unconscious.... and yes after I stop panicking I snapped a shot of it running away and that creature was fast and covered a lot of area very quickly........................... And the noise it made was also very scary and the way it smelled was even worst.............. So if I ever see one again and it was moving north then I would head south with out uttering a word and at my fastest speed possible........ One more thing I was close enough to look stright into its eyes.... And that was a frightening all by its self................................................................................... They have nothing that I would want to hear and no I would make any effort to talk to it.......... I would run and hope that I don't urinate on myself or get knocked out by running into tree............ I don't believe that many people reallizes just how big and tall these creature are.............................................

I think that there is a possibility. If I was to come across one I would probably freeze, and be the first known person killed by Bigfoot.

they have found hair of the so called skunk ape, the Florida big foot, and when those were tested with hair of other apes, there was no match or the results were inconclusive, another way of saying hey we're going to drag this out so we can get more funding. from my experience, it's really a mind trick that we play on ourselves. it's practically human nature to fill in the blanks where there are blanks. if we see something that looks like a figure coming towards us our brains fill in the missing spots to make it a figure and out instincts tell us that a mysterious figure coming at us in the woods is something to run away from. being in the woods to begin with already establishes in your brain what you expect to see. so a bit of fudged recall can get you a big foot, but all the searching in the world wont find anything.

I think Bigfoot is real.
If I seen one I'd snap a picture of it then run.

Bigfoot is real. Jesus sent him to the Rocky Mountains to convert all the wolves and mountain lions to Christianity.
