I'm sure much good has come from selling beer at ballparks, and selling it elsewhere. People make money by selling beer. People who drink it have a good time. People who drink beer at ballparks, if they like baseball, have an even better time.
As others here said, there is no reason to stop people from having a good time because some people are jerks.
Some people get violent when they drink. That has been true throughout human history. Imposing sanctions that prevent the average person from having fun will not stop this from happening.
It would be far better for the ballparks to hire more security, and have the guards move in faster to break up any problems.
We have more than enough prohibition, and the trend is going the other way--toward individual choice. As an example, young people are more in favor of lifting the heavy legal sanctions against possession of small amounts of mariuana.

That is stupid. They should definitely raise the price or get rid of beer in stadiums all together. Raising the price would help them earn more money for other stuff too. Actually, I think they should get rid of beer in stadiums altogether. I hate seeing drunk fans or having beer spilled all over you.

There are thirty maor league ball parks. Three of them are named for brewers or breweries. Only one is named for a brand of orange juice. I don't drink. But, I'm not going to impose my personal preferences on thousands of people. Just like I'm not calling for the banning of parents at the ball park when they don't exercise control of their children and let them run amok like crazed little demons. Your suggestion reminds me of H.L. Mencken's definition the New Puritan" One who lies awake at night worrying that someone out there is having fun".

No. Just because some people ruin it the majority are responsible and should not have it ruined for them. And that will never happen because the teams make mad money off of beer.

Everyone needs to take responsibility for their own actions. Peopleget drunk everywhere all over the world each day and theres no way to blame a sporting event for someone being an idiot. Theres no way to stop it.

No more beer. Nothing good about a bunch of drunken slobs screaming down your neck with incoherent nonsense.
