Not necessarily, although according to the "what goes up must come down" theory, unless you give the sperm at least a small amount of time to get "up" right after ejaculation, if it's still in the vagina, a lot of it will come "down" when she sits on the toilet. That's why some women stay horizontal up to 30 minutes after intercourse when trying to become pregnant...which is a bit much, in my opinion. It seems like just a few minutes would do the trick.

I agree with the person who said that it's good to go to the bathroom soon after because it decreases the risk of UTI...from personal experience.

No but it will lessen the chance that she gets a urinary tract infection so this is a good thing for to do. I've heard that laying with your legs up helps the sperm get there easier but I doubt it does all that much~

Washing or urinating after sex will not stop semen and sperm that have already entered the uterus through the cervix.

Further urine does not pass through the vagina so it will not "wash out" sperm and prevent pregnancy.

It is however advised to urinate after sex to help prevent urinary tract infections.

Absolutely not. The semen goes in her vagina. Urine comes out her urethra and feces comes out of her anus. Use protection or get ready to be a dad.
