I said a similar thing yesterday in a post... about the Nazi War Criminals who seem to live into their 90`s.
I was wondering if earth is actually Hell, cos bad people stay here longer.

Here are a few reasons:
1. Cars are big, bulky, and dangerous for the sole interest of getting somewhere quickly.
2. Guns. You can't accidentally stab someone unless you're a knife-thrower in a circus or something.
3. If you were the government, what would you spend a large amount of money on:
a. Curing cancer
b. Solving World Hunger
c. Putting a guy on a big desolate space rock before the commies as an act of symbolism
Guess what they chose?

Statistically, the answer you seek has never been proven. It is simply coincidental that good people appear to die young while rogues live for much longer. It's a myth that has passed into popular culture and it's probably based on some flawed comment made many years ago.

This has been a question puzzling men for thousands of years. I believe it is a good example of the expression "The luck of the Devil"
At our School Commemoration Service every year there was a Bible Reading which always stuck in my brain, it started as "Let us now praise famous men.." but the bit which got me was: "And some there be, who have no memorial, who are perished as though they had not been".
The evil achieve immortality.

When it is your time, you go. When it is not your time, you stay. That is why you can survive cancer only to die in a car crash... You continue to face situations in life to learn from. If you don't handle the situation right, you will continue to face it until you learn. Once we learn to live in a more spiritual existence, we go on to live in the spirit world. Some people die, only to comeback to earth again to learn a new lesson in a new physical situation. So learn from your mistakes, grow and aspire to a more spiritual existence and you will "graduate". The universe is abundant and offers much to those who have the courage to trust and endure. Good luck to us all.

The devil is powerless against God. But he rules this world at this time, and his rule is almost to an end. He fears this which is why the earth's conditions are getting worse (ie. bad people are getting away with a lot of things while good people suffer).

It's because the "good" take it too far, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Marilyn Monroe, Kurt Cobain...the "bad" only do it in excess and something in them stops them from going to far...fear maybe. Maybe that's what makes the "good" great. They don't have a fear of anything, including death.
Can't answer about James Dean, supposedly, he wasn't speeding nor had he been drinking. Wrong place, wrong time!
