I think a little of both elements. They were born with soft skin and women naturally use products to enhance that.

I do know it is because of nature and most woman enhance that but I can' tell you why woman's skin is naturally softer. Boys skin does begin that way when they are babies.

naturally women have a greater body fat %, it helps keep us a bit softer. products can enhance the softness as well.
