Dixie Rae is absolutely wonderful. I like Mattie Grace, too. I would probably end up just calling them Dixie and Mattie for everyday though.

i love all of them but dixie (no offence) it does sond like a grandmothers name. the onle proab is if u name kids after family, and they dont like who they are named after then u could have proabs later. maybe change the names, spin them around so they are not entirely. like Mattie Rae and Grace Dixie? i like grace as a first name. and u might want to name them Matalin or Madison instead of mattie and just use mattie as a nickname cause a teacher could call them that thinking that mattie was a nickname because that is not a regular name. u know what im sayin?
HOPE IT HELPS!!

Sorry, I'm not a fan, but obviously the names don't have the same sentimentality for me as they do for you. How about using similar names or names with the same initials? I do like Grace and would like Madelyn Grace instead of Mattie. You might also want to consider Daisy Rachel or Dilana Rose. It just gives the child a more individual identity while still honouring the memory of your loved ones.

Almost sounds too hick.
Mattie Grace is nice, but Dixie Rae is a little much.

Hmm, I prefer as nicknames.
Mattea, Matilda or Mathilde for the nickname Mattie.
I couldn't come up with a full name for Dixie.
I really do like the idea of honoring family members.
