Typical night, I work as security for a local club. I go to work tonight and told I am suspended from a previous matter a few nights prior. Scenario at hand, a few days ago I purchased a drink for someone underage(knowingly).

The problem; the management knows underage drinking goes on and when we work we try and curb this as much as possible. What really pisses me off is the fact that the guy who suspended me knowingly lets/watches girls drink underage there(not saying that it's frequent but it does happen). I realize what I did was wrong and accept it but what I can't get over is the fact that the SAME guy who suspends me sits there and lets others get away with it.

Do I let it go or does anyone have any intelligent recourse of action?

You broke the rules. End of story. You can't fight your suspension.

However, you can still try to bust your coworkers if you are really that bothered by this hypocracy. This doesn't make what you did right, but it might help right the wrongs of the other employees.

Sometimes one person takes the blame for the crimes of many. That doesn't mean you are innocent, of course, it just means that you were the unlucky SOB who got caught.

As for recourse -- no, as someone who admits to having broke the rules yourself, you have no recourse. What's done is done. Taking this matter to a court of law would only hurt your situation and make you look worse.

Instead, try an anonymous tip to your local police department. Then, at least your coworkers and perhaps the management can suffer the same fate that you have.

Intelligent recourse of action.

Sue him.

Get some good lawyers like myself.

Sure, you broke the law, put the club insinuates the action of underage drinking is good.

Good Luck!

You can report them. However that has nothing to do with the fact you knowingly broke the law.
It may be a crappy company with Hypocrits running it, but it does not change your own personal circumstance.
I say, get out of there before the whole place gets busted and shut down, and you get lumped in with them.

I say let it go. And try not to serve underaged girls again, because as I am sure you know if you get caught the club will lose their liquor license. So if they do get caught, it will be the management's fault, not yours.

there's no real recourse available to you, mostly because you've got unclean hands.

if you had a clean record on the subject, then you'd be fine--unfortunately, you're stuck with the current situation.

if you see him doing something more serious? keep track of when and how often this guy does stuff.

Let it go. Were you right or were you wrong? No
defending an act you know was wrong.
