The number you've provided (85%) is bogus. It's almost certainly far too high.

Only a study of the entire female population could truly determine how many married women cheat on their partners. As of now, you'll have to settle for looking at studies on segments on the population. I'm sure you can find several on the internet.

As a side note, women and men cheat in equal numbers and for generally the same reasons. That men cheat more and that men need sex more than women do are stereotypes and are blatantly false.

I love how all the people on here just state everything as if thatever THEY think MUST be more factual than whatever anyone else wrote. So stupid - Mike, you say "those numbers are bogus." How the heck would you know? There are NO studies of ANY kind in which ALL members of a population are surveyed. If you have any education in research, that's not done. Ever. Just because you feel like something should be, doesn't mean it is. To call someone else out and say THEY need to backup their information, then you haven't done that, is ridiculous.
