my girlfriends birthday is next week, and i wana get her the perfect gift...i no money cant but love, so i dont expect a fancy gift will make her love me more...we are already in love and getting marrie in 2009. shes turning 18...what should i buy her??? i do hav the money to buy something expensive so thats a possibility...i was thinking of getting a diamond necklace ring or braclet...or a designer bag or sumthin...anyone hav some more ideas??? thankssss

Save the diamonds as a wedding gift. For her birthday buy her a designer bag from her favorite designer. Also consider getting her a day at the spa.

I would go for the necklace, in diamonds, something you could match later with the engagement and/or wedding ring.
A purse is nice but it would go out of fashion quickly. Jewellery is always what a girl wants, especially nice jewellery she could wear at her wedding. The bracelet also is a keeper, you want to give her something she can keep for a long time, I think if you can do a matched set, that really goes far, and you can add to it as you go along, together. How about a hot air balloon ride and romantic lunch? Then you could give her a charm bracelet with a little hot air balloon to mark the occaision.
I think the best birthdays are ones where you do something with someone you love, then get a little something that reminds you of the day.

Turning 18? You shouldn't be thinking about marriage yet. Get her some flowers and perfume. You are young and haven't had a chance to experience much yet. Don't you know what the divorce rate is???

a build-a-bear that you made yourself special for her. name it something she would like and buy an out fit for it that reminds you of her. also flowers. just in a boquet (or however you spell it). bring them to her house early in the morning and surprise her. tell her you wanted to be the first to tell her happy birthday. oh and get all dressed up and take a shower.
