I know "Friday I'm in Love" was great, but there was another one very similar that was good music to dance to.

"High'" was another single from Wish (1992). Probably closest to "Friday I'm in Love" since it's the same era and also upbeat. "Mint Car" from Galore (1996) is also uptempo.
"Never Enough" was the new song on Mixed Up (1990)
"Fascination Street" from Disintegration (1989)
"Hot Hot Hot", "Why Can't I Be You" and "Just Like Heaven" from Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me (1987)
"Inbetween Days" and "Close to Me" from the Head on the Door (1985)
"Let's Go to Bed", "The Walk", and "Lovecats" from Japanese Whispers (1984).

There are a lot more but these are ones I remember hearing at clubs back in the day....

Just like Heaven. It's my favorite song by The Cure.

i wish it is comedian tale. i do no longer think of that any guy could be that cheesy to signify that song. yet merely on the off possibility it is not a comedian tale (God help your fiance), attempt yet another U2 song. My husband and that i the two love the "without or with you" with the aid of U2, in spite of the shown fact that it wasn't appropiate for a customary dance song. particularly, we performed "appealing day" on the top of the ceremony.

Well, I recommend you buy their Greatest Hits album; aside from 'Friday I'm in Love' it contains classics such as 'Let's Go to Bed', 'The Lovecats' etc. Personally, my fave song by The Cure is 'Lullaby.'

The Cure's songs were always a bit slow beat wise to be much in the way of dance music.
