Even if it is playing it should be stopped.
Your dog might not be trying to hurt your rabbit, but it might be.
My toy poodle was "playing" with my rabbit when it escaped and my dog ended up taking most of the hair off her.

If the dog pays too much attention to the rabbit, cries or whines at it a lot, has it's tail stiff in the air, it is probably going to hurt your rabbit. It may do this in the blink of an eye. if you are at all concerned, don't let your dog have access to your bunny. You may save its life.

Check to see if anyone of them has a cut. If they don't, let them be but keep an eye on them when they "play." I've had experience with my cat and my little dog play. I found out that they just are having fun with each other.

Depends on what kind of dog it is and it's temperament. I know dogs and other animals (prey) can get along. Just keep in mind all dogs descend from the animal "Canis lupus." (wolf) Rabits/hare is one of there primary food sources when they arn't able to hunt in packs. Be care full and always watch them. If in doubt, don't let them together.

Dogs are natural hunters. But if there is blood or limping, or crying, it is NOT play.
