another question: how would Optimus Prime had dealt with the war on terror?

Optimus Prime easy. Why? Prime is never concerned for the legacy he will leave behind, only the purpose he is meant to do for the success of peace. Prime would never get caught up in ideological rhetoric and would never allow the innocent to be harmed or killed. Prime would deal with the 'war on terror' as a real leader should - 'One shall stand, one shall fall.' He would lead his troops into battle only to fight the leader of the enemy forces one on one to end the struggle.
...just my opinion, I could be wrong

I also think that Optimus Prime would get Osama first and if he invaded Iraq, he wouldn't be an idiot, and deal with an insurgency and make the different divisions in Iraq kiss and make up.
