has anyone had there period n were still pregnant?

I was wondering has anyone had there period and still been pregnant? If so wat symptoms were u having...I think I'm pregnant but I've had my period..I have a lot of white CM..n cramps but my period was only 3days heavy to n lite one.....

My sister-in-law had her period during her pregnancy. She also had no other symptoms of being PG so she never thought she was, until she felt something "move". She called her OB right away and sure enough, she was little over 4 mo. PG. Dr said everything was fine, US showed no problems w/baby. She did end up delivering 6 wks early though. Dr could not say for sure if having period (she had period throughout) was to cause or the fender bender she had. Child is now 7 yrs old very happy and healthy.

I know a lot of girls that didn't think were pregnant because they thought they were having a period, but the bleeding ended up being from something else. Obviously you can't really have a period while you are pregnant, since a period is the disposal of the unused egg and uterus lining, and neither are unused when pregnant. Bleeding while pregnant in the first trimester leads to a miscarriage 50% of the time (this does not count implantation spotting) so it should be reported to an OB ASAP. I had period like bleeding when I was pregnant, and luckily my baby was born healthy and with no problems.

Yes. This is not uncommon. Some women experience regular bleeding throughout their entire pregnancy with no negative impact on their developing baby. Other women miscalculate their due date because their periods continued in the early stage of their pregnancy. If you are unsure see your doctor.
