there was a petition to bring it back the original shape but in1992 Trix replaced the original round ball shape with fruit-shaped pieces. Four new fruit shapes and colors were added over the years: Grapity purple (1980-1995), Lime green (1991), Wildberry blue (1998-2006), and Watermelon (1999). In 1995, the cereal pieces were given a brighter and more colorful look. It should be noted, however, that the different "fruits" in the cereal between 1992 and 2006 all share the same flavor. Recently in 2007 Trix has replaced their fruit shaped pieced with the original round ball shape.

lol Trix is Still gonna taste Good even if it does look different but I guess You'd like to see that your Cereal LOOKS good tooo. I wish Every Cereal would look good but hey I'm not a cereal making company so I'll just stick with buying cerreal but all well =)

I don't eat Trix. Sugary and unhealthy, ick. I eat cheese danishes. Mmm, yummy!
HOWEVER, if the shape of my favorite cereal pieces changed to boring circles, I would be pissed too :)

I guess it is another part of childhood that I will not be able to recaptured. Yes, it is lame . They went from being creative to being a drag. But as long as still tastes good then that will be the ultimate panel

they always were that shape, it wasnt until a few years back they got all those other shapes...trix were like Kix but flavored
