Say, "what do I do when lightning strikes me?" Then I'd explain that I know this song too. I believe it's Elton John.

If you mean in a romantic sense, I would have to say truthfully that I am I confirmed widow and want to stay that way. If a family member or platonic friend asked me that question, I would rightfully feel ashamed that I had not shown my love, and try to let them know that I do indeed love them. I have learned that love doesn't require me to be a chump. I have learned the hard way the difference between loving and enabling.

Delilah
I would say
"Be yourself, be honest, stop lieing, to me to yourself, be on time, stop cheating, just be you, just be the person I fell in love with in the beginning.."
"Don't say one thing to me, to my face, go home and tell all your friends a completely different story"
Don't say to me "I love you, " and all the while, your bragging to your buddies that you don't love me, you just want other things from me, and expect other things from me".....which, by the way,,,, no amount of love will grant you that anyways,,,,
"Include me, into your life, like you feel necessary to include other people who are not related.....or not as close as I think we are, or were once....." !!!!!

I would answer: I do care for you as a friend and only time and by being yourself could I love you. By trying to make me love you, I would never know if it was you or an act. If in time we I still felt for you only as a friend. I hope that would be enough.

Probably nothing. That's a really uncomfy thing for someone to say to someone they supposedly love. You know the old saying, if you love something let it go, if it comes back it was meant to be....

I'd probably suggest that she re-take 8th grade English and ask again later.

But if I cared, if I really, really cared, . . . then wouldn't I love her already? Just a little?

Be yourself - I am going to find out who you are eventually - so just be yourself and then if I love you we will know that I am loving the real you.

I would smile and say, "What do I have to do to help you notice that I love you?"

Then I would kiss her.

I am assuming this question is romantic, not referring to brotherly love.
