Take budweiser. They don't sell to the merchant individual beers so, how can they get away with that?

Most likely, it is.

Many convenience stores sell the beers, especially 16 oz and larger sizes, individually.

Funny you ask this, b/c I was just at the grocery store. YOU can buy one beer out a six pack.
I don't think there are any legal issues about it.

sale of individual beers is likely controlled by state law, not by the beer venders.

if state law prohibits that [due to class of license or other factors], then the store is in violation.


since you didn't tell us, you'll have to research your state's laws yourself.
