I think it is because once you have convinced yourself that god is real then you start to look at things as 'why did god make this happen' rather than just accepting it whether it be good or bad, and as you can't say anything negative about god without fear of being punished for all eternity then you have to twist things to make it seem like it is all part of a big plan which is all going to work out in the end. An example of this I read on here a couple of weeks ago was someone who had problems seeing very well and they said they had prayed to god to make it better and of course nothing changed so they decided that god must want them to have poor vision.

I've always heard it, "If you plan to learn, learn to plan." But any way they all mean the same thing. If you don't plan, plan on failing. Expect to fail, if you don't plan.

Planning is like the engine. Without the engine your car cannot move. Thus without planning no achievement will come on your side. In other words there will be no positive results.

If you do not know what you are setting out to do and how you will achieve it, then you are planning to achieve nothing at all, and you will probably succeed at achieving nothing at all.

Success isn't ever accidental. You have to have a plan. Not having a plan ensures that nothing will happen. I don't care how many times it works out alright in the movies.

i sware i got that in a fortune cookie once eating at p.f. chang's and as we got our check and the fortune cookies, i was talking about my prospective plans for school, and travel and when i opened mine up, thats what it said!... i took it as, you must take action in what you set out to do, because in being stagnant you are setting yourself up to never accomplish anything and essentially fail! .. wise words.
