i do this sometimes not 'cuz i have to but for the experience since i'm able to. i feel like i'm intruding sometimes. wondering if there were people here on the opposite end and wondering how you feel being interviewed. thanks

terrified. they will distort and shape the material any way they choose. how do i know. i did it for years. at first i was idealistic and in time i learned what they wanted and how to make a little more money but, more important, how to get the cushier assignments. bad health did me in and now i watch them and realize far more than then just how corrupt the whole industry has become. it is a business pure and simple.

That would depend on the person doing the interview. Having a camera and microphone stuck in my face if I refused would
only p*** me off. Do yourself a favor, be ready for the people that don't want to talk. Once they refuse let them go but, don't let that stop you from reporting what you know.

I have been on TV 3 times, once local media, a morning show, and twice for a major TV network show. one just filmed 2 weeks ago will show in Dec.. I rather like it., I think its fun... although some of the questions asked put you on the spot. chances are they will get edited

Nothing newsworthy has happened to me for the media to interview me.
