Realistically yes especially if we are forced to take military action against Iran. Our current troop levels are not sufficient to sustain a drawn out occupation of both Iraq and Iran. The tours are getting longer and the time between tours shorter. They are not able to maintain their recruiting goals as it is.

Theres already a draft. Its called a poverty draft. If you ask all marine, air force and army personnel why they joined the military, the majority of them will tell you that they did it for a college education or job experience. Hardly any of them will tell you they did it because they wanted to overthrow Saddam Hussein and bring democracy to Iraq. As long as America has a steady supply of downtrodden, poor, and indigent young people who are desperate for oppurtunity, then the military will never need to implement a draft. That is unless the poor people of America become more disillusioned with the war, and begin to see through the lies of the Administration and refuse to serve. And right now, we're seeing this happen at an unprecedented rate. Then the Administration might be forced to implement something coercive, but it will definetly be disguised differently. It wont be called a draft.

If the Israelis in Washington D.C. have their way, yes indeed. How else will America conquer the Middle East for Israel if there aren't fresh troops to sacrifice on the front line?

I think that it will take longer than that. But I do believe that we will see it again, and I also believe that it will be necessary....we have no people to defend our country if we get attacked, they everywhere but in America.
In addition, I think it would be a good thing because it would help straighten out a lot of young lives that currently get in trouble....

Only if the DNC gets a major majority in Congress and and in the White House.

They are the ones who want it.

If the Bushies get their way and start invading other Islamic countries like Iran and others it will be the only way to keep up the necessary troop strength

Yes. I don't see how we can't. We have 2 war fronts going and not enough warm bodies signing up.
Get your things packed, cons! You might be seeing war up close and personal!
