Over an hour in the summer in the Holland Tunnel. Couldn't open the windows because of the exhaust fumes and couldn't leave the AC on or we would overheat. Felt like I had died and gone to Hell.

4 hours on a very hot summer day. Two oil tankers crashed on an off ramp and blocked traffic for 3 freeways. There was no way to get off and I thought I was going to go out of my mind.

from las vegas, nv to victorville, ca a trip that should take around 2 hours took 10 because of the traffic and the fact that it was snowing and no one had chains.....needless to say there were a few accidents along the way too....

About 13 hours when we were evacuating for a hurricane. It was HORRIBLE!
