would you lovely people mind telling me what you think of my poem?
I'm more of a thoughtful analysis sort of person, but I happened to find this sandwiched between momentum equations and trig notes in my notebook and I thought it to be one of my better poems. So, here goes:
I like the idea of 'kind of perfect',
of the sweet resonation of chords
accompanying sweeter sounds spoken.
Simple spontaneity.
Planning may equal perfection,
but sometimes 'sort of' is better than 'all of'.
How beautifully brevity can result.
He who said 'What is started must be finished,'
obviously overlooked the in-betweens.
No, perfection hardly matters when heart takes the stage.

Oh, sorry, when referring to the cliche, I meant that about 3842732567 people ask "What do you think of my poem", and I couldn't stand to post that as the subject line.
But thankyou. [[:
And I did think I went a little alliteration crazy. And again. Haha.
