I don't know, but if you had a good printing press that printed counterfeit $10 (the only ones easy enough to pass off), it would take a day or two. But then to pass the bills off would take more than two weeks.
Easier to kidnap the daughter of a multimillionaire, and ask for $2,500,000 ransom. The half mil would pay for the infrastracture and logistics to carry it off.
