No limit of speech for right or left extremists.

The liberals are already trying to do that with the Fairness
bill they've come up with. It is to try and get Rush Limbaugh
off the radio (and some others). That is not the way to go.
All anyone has to do if they don't want to hear Rush or other
Conservatives, is to turn their radio dial to another station (like
I do if I hear Howard Stern). We have to treat all people alike. We can't limit freedom of speech to just right wing or left wing elements. (you should know that before asking such a silly
question).

No. The First Ammendment: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." The only people who seem to have a problem with tis are the right-wing. Well--this is America--love t or leave it.

Any law that limits the freedom of a specific group can be used to limit the freedom of other groups. If you stop the right wing from speaking it will eventually be used to limit the Left wing; special interest groups; and anyone who is viewed as unpopular.

then they will limit for the left wing extremists, then the people who don't like anything the govt doesn't want them to not like.. then they will limit your freedom of speech.. The govt will take as much as you give them..its best to fight tooth and nail to allow EVERYONE freedom of speech regardless of how crazy you might think they are... you have the power to ignore them and turn off the TV.

No
Freedom of Speech is for everyone even those we disagree with at the time.

When you start going down that dark road who going to say well maybe left wing extremists should be limited.
Follow by those who disagree with the majority should be limited...

Not in my country.

ABSOLUTELY NOT!

I find many of the extremely right-wing pundits, or wanna be pundits, very annoying & sometimes unwilling to listen to facts (same goes for ALL extremists), but I will not try to take their Freedoms of Speech away from them. They have just as much right as you and I to speak their mind.

U.S. Constitution, Amendment I.

If we start limiting freedom of speech, someday they could come after you for asking the question or after me for responding. When someone speaks and you disagree simply change the channel or radio dial or walk away, unless you choose to exercise your freedom of speech and debate them.

Freedom of speech is one of the foundations of a true democratic society. Have we forgotton it at times, sure we have. Google McCarthyism and look for a link on Wikipedia.
