and most Best of Power, goth, industrial bands are from Europe. does it mean that goth, heavy metal, and progressive metal is dead in USA?

Right now, Europe has the market cornered on much of the good metal. I agree with you on that point. However, I think in the next 5-7 years there will be a huge resurgence in quality metal here in the U.S. I base this on how many Youtube videos I see of 15 year old American shredders working out Petrucci and Yngwie licks in their bedroom. There is an American metal renaissance coming, and I can't wait to hear some of the stuff that will come out in the next decade.

check out Kamelot, a Florida symphonic power metal band, and they are far from dead.
their new album is pretty awesome, and the one before was their best yet.

dude dream theater? still alive and kickin

megadeth is also currently awesome with UA and system has failed, though they aren't in any of the genres you listed...but no doubt thrash is the best kind of metal ever, so oh well
