Chalk your hand where it touches the cue.

Sweating. Get ourself a small pouch with baby powder to hold in our hand as your apponent is taking thier turn. Use a clothe pouch so that the powder will slowly seep thro the fiber pores of the pouch & allow just enough powder to keep your hands free from sweat. It's also easy to slide up & down your cue if you've gotten your cue sticky! Always keep a half used chalk cue as well. The chaulk is softer deeper in the cue, & it's easier to chaulk the entire surface of your cue stick without having to fight a new pieceof chaulk. Have fun!!!

Use talcum powder or white (regular) chalk.
