I live in an apartment( in MA )and wondering if there any law/regulations that says the landlord need to changes the carpet every certain years? When we move in the conditions is not so good (some stains), but we have no choice because we need to move in the same day. We didnt see it at the viewing because of the furniture of the old tenant

There are no regulations requiring carpet replacement. Even though your carpet is not so great, you moved in without complaint, thusly accepting the property 'as is'.

Now is not the time to complain. If your landlord is a real nice person, they MAY replace it at their option, but are not required to do so.

No, there isn't even law that there is carpeting. Carpeting last about 30 years, so isn't changed unless it is damaged by a tenant.

rent a rug shampooer and some cleaner and scrub. or call a professional cleaner (landlord not responsible for payment) alot of these give discounts so check them out first.
