You might want to quit if they're being unreasonable, and if you can afford it. You might want to start looking for something else right away.
Bear in mind that as long as you're in the system of working for others, you are in effect a slave, and one slave owner passes the slave's information to the next. :Someone could ask you "why did you leave," and most answers you give will not be satisfactory.
The bottom line is that you need to be in your OWN BUSINESS, for which most people should strive.

No. Find a new job thats hopefully better, then quit the old one. If you quit just like that without another job lined up, not only you would be jobless but also you have no money coming in.

Of course not, you need to start looking for another job before you quit the one you have. It is always much easier to find another job while you have a job. If you are jobless, an employer will question your work ethic and abilities. Start looking tomorrow.

Find and try out another job first before you do that. You don't want to trade a bad job for a worse job, or end up jobless.

I know the feeling because I hated my job also, but I did hang in there (family ya know) . It was worth it in the long run because for the job I needed a college education and that was worth it. I also get a good retirement and heath insurance.
But not knowing much about you, what your job is, age, and your education there isn't too much I can say, but I'll try.
If you are able to get another job, I would quit. I you are desparate for money hang in there and on your day off look for another job.

Maybe your just in a funk, that won't last. If you decide that you really want to change jobs, stick with the old job until you find a new one. If you are presently employed, you will be negotiating with your new employer from a position of strength. He knows that he will have to offer you more than if you are unemployed. Have some ready answers, as to why you want to leave your present job. Example: you want better pay, a greater challenge, more responsibility, etc
