Do you have a surge protector? when the power came back on it probably fried the computers circuits if you dont. Other suggestion, wait for the blackout to end :)

Question? how are u asking this question then without a computer?

If you were not using a surge protector...or you were using a low quality one you most liklely blew your computer's circuit. I would suggest buying a quality surge protector (they're usually no less than $50) and try plugging it into that. If that doesn't work then you can try to take it to a local repair shop (only if you think it's worth it).

Modern power supplies have a surge protection feature that allows you to unplug the machine, wait 2-3 minutes and then plug it back in and see if it starts.

If not, than a zener diode in the power stage probably took the jolt and fried. A tech must replace it with solder.
Or just get another power supply.

Good luck

a few things to try,
if its connected to a power surge strip, see if there is a reset button on it, if so press it, and see if the computer turns on then, try turning the power strip on and off a few times, make sure its working
if its starting to boot up at all, hit F1 when the blue screen comes up, go into the system set up, and reset defaults, on my computer F5 does that, yours should tell you on that screen, then save changes

if non of that works, try inserting the restore disk, this would mean you are totally restoring your computer though, and the computer would atleast have to be powering up

try unplugging it from the power source for about 10 seconds then retry turning it on. or check your surge protector, maybe it blew?

....I am assuming you are using a different computer right now?
Take it to a computer store. The Geek Squad at Best Buys is good.

it probably short circuited. you'll have to take it to a computer store to see if it can be revived. if not theres really nothing u can do. when sumting short circuits, wires and stuff burn inside the computer. happened to my cellphone and laptop during my black out. they were plugged in.

If you talking about a Desktop..

There is a button at the Power supply on back of your desktop. (near the fan.) Turn it off, then turn it on. and hit power.
